It also has a strong litigation department. We invited Julian Charles to talk us through the firm and their approach to clients. Barnett Alexander Conway Ingram was formed in 2001 by the merger of a central London commercial firm and a local mainly property law firm. We are located in modern premises in Finchley, London (within easy reach of Central London). The major part of our work revolves around property and property development, but we also work within the areas of business and commercial law, which I deal with specifically, and also litigation, employment and private client. We offer a broad range of business and commercial law support as well as full services in our other areas of work.. We act for a wide variety of clients. I deal with the corporate work, such as joint ventures, LLP and partnership agreements, for our property investor/development clients. I also act for businesses and companies, large and small, and businesspeople/entrepreneurs, dealing with private equity/joint ventures, buying/selling companies and businesses, commercial contracts and Company law, shareholder, partnership and LLP agreements and disputes, insolvency and employment law. Most of our clients are based in the UK but we also act for a significant number of clients who are based, or require our services for transactions, overseas. As a firm we act in a hands on capacity emphasising individual service and tailored solutions for our clients. We strive to be approachable, forward thinking and transparent. We have ten lawyers, all highly experienced in their fields. We retain experienced lawyers and support staff, ensuring that all services provided to our clients are top quality. Our growth is through repeat instructions and referrals, which is ultimately how we measure our success as a legal practice. We are keen to grow as a practice and broaden our practice areas, through the taking on of new staff, which could include trainees and younger lawyers. This will ensure that we get fresh new ideas and experiences into the business.
