An example of our expertise is the bitterly fought case in which myself my colleague Dorothy Tan were successful in helping a mother obtain care and control of her two children in a bitterly contested legal battle spanning three years. The father had argued that the mother should not have custody because she was having an affair and was not a good parent whereas he was the more loving and caring parent. In a Judgment announced on 17 August this year, Judicial Commissioner Debbie Ong agreed with our arguments that the mother is a good and nurturing parent, despite the husband’s efforts to portray her as otherwise. The Learned Judge awarded custody of the two children to the mother and ordered the father to hand over the children to the mother within seven days or face contempt proceedings.
