The firm’s clients are located within the St. Petersburg, Braden- ton, Sarasota, and Venice area. As for the approach the firm’s takes when working alongside a new client, Chris informs us of the steps the team takes to ensure that the outcome meets the needs of everyone in- volved, as well as the techniques used to achieve this. “Communication is the key during both the proposal and interview stages and especially once the contract begins. C&S asks for issues that the Community is currently encountering and the firm offers specific solutions to address those issues. “Our company strives to meet the needs of our clients with professionalism and passion. We have an open- door policy for all of our managers to draw from the collective prior experiences and lessons of our staff. In addition to this, C&S also encourages and supports the managers in furthering their education.” Whilst on the topic of staff, the team at C&S have the belief that a positive attitude, the ability to adapt to all different personality types, the hunger for more knowl- edge and pride in a job well done are attributes es- sential to achieving success within the industry. Going into depth about the team at C&S, Chris explains to us how they are able to cultivate an atmosphere that is conducive to a productive working environment. “Employee motivation directly impacts the productivity of any company. If employees are lacking in motiva- tion, it is probable that they are not doing their jobs effectively and as a result, the company suffers. We have found it very important to motivate our employ- ees which is not a simple task because everyone has different motivating factors. What works for one employee may not necessarily work for another. In order to overcome this challenge, we have found several different motivators that appeal to our employ- ees which include some of the following: Supervisor/ Senior Management interaction with the employees, health benefits, paid time off, allowing independence, praise and recognition.” Contact: M.H. Chris explained that this involvement and the contacts that were made, “have been very helpful to C&S and C&S clients.” Looking ahead to what the future holds, Chris is keen to highlight the plans which are in the pipeline for C&S, as well as touching on the developments he foresees within the industry and how the company will adapt around these. “Regulation changes in the Florida Statutes each year requires that we adapt and institute the neces- sary requirements to adhere to the new regulations. Technology continues to be everchanging, always advancing, providing us with opportunities to be more efficient and gain an edge on the competition.
