Through this approach we are able to deliver results, and I am proud to support the group and help it grow and thrive.” As in any business, at the Bonfide Group it is staff that are crucial to its ongoing success, Alongside his role at the group, Patrick is a family man with 4 boys aged 12 years, 3 years and 1.5 years. He loves travelling and networking with professional friends. As such, he is committed to supporting his team and helping them to achieve a work- life balance that is right for them, and uses his personal experience and outgoing nature to drive his team forward, as he proudly explores. “Personally, my leadership style is of inclusivity and empowerment of staff to ensure that they are well motivated to perform their duties. We work along personal and company values to ensure they are all aligned. As part of leadership team, my role is to advise the business in areas of risk, compliance and embrace best business management practices. Through clear communication, staff are able to articulate issues and have a solutions- oriented approach.” Driving the group to continued success will remain Patrick’s core focus moving forward. He concludes by discussing the group’s plans, as well as sharing an insight into how far he has come over the years, and the secrets he believes have shaped his career. “Overall, it is my belief that the best way to grow your career is through personal aspiration, ensure all basics are obtained through technical qualifications, continuous skill-based learning programs and good networking and relationship building with right industry professionals. This is how I have achieved the success I enjoy today. “Looking ahead, it is my aim to ride on past experience and become an overall business leader. I am keen to support the Bonfide Group through its ongoing drive towards becoming the number one logistics provider in Africa. We are currently focusing on building long-term relationships that we shall leverage on to grow revenues.
