Going into further detail, Stephen begins by informing us of the areas the firm specialises in, as well as the services they provide. “At GrahamThompson, our practice in the Turks and Caicos Islands focusses on all types of general business law. This includes banking and finance, where we act for two of the three large Canadian banks in TCI; litigation and dispute resolution; employment, in which we act for the majority of the hotels in Providenciales; real property and development; and lastly admiralty and shipping. Recently, we have gained a reputation for transactional real estate matters including real estate development work.” Throughout the years, the team at GrahamThompson have worked alongside a diverse range of clients from a vast selection of industries. When discussing the clients they have served, Stephen is keen to reveal more about the clients they serve, and also noting how the firm find potential new clients. “Overall, our clients are varied and split between local property developers, hotel management companies, strata corporations, banks and private individuals resident in the Islands on the one hand, and international banks, foreign receivers or liquidators and persons resident abroad who wish to invest in the Turks and Caicos Islands or who have invested. “Many of our clients come to us, we do not generally approach them.
