In the beautiful location of Walton on the Hill overlooking Walton Mere pond, Maria & daughter team have run their establishment for almost 18 years. Providing fresh, delicious Italian Cuisine as well as tempting cocktails & fine wines, their family run restaurant attracts old & young alike. With exceptional music at weekends, this has become a ‘go to’ place with regular celebrities also enjoying the unique ambience. During Covid, the dynamic duo continued serving their delicious food & cocktails to their customers doorstep, as well as donating Christmas meals to the vulnerable and supporting the NHS. This has led to Spaghetti Tree becoming British Takeaway Award finalists with Just Eat and shortlisted for The PAPA Community Award 2021 (Pizza and Pasta Association). The menu is varied, with a range of authentic pasta, pizza and rice dishes, such as arancini, linguine con polpette, and calzone, M accompanied with breads, olives and roasted vegetable sides, and offering vegan, gluten free and vegetarian options means that Spaghetti Tree really does cater for everyone’s individual needs and dietary requirements. The dedicated staff pride themselves on delivering friendly and accommodating service. Maria tells us more about the restaurant’s philosophy. “As a small family-run business, the ethos behind our restaurants is clear – it is best to keep it simple, traditional, fresh, and affordable. Also, and probably most important of all, to keep it in the family.” And customers at Spaghetti Tree couldn’t agree more, with regular five-star reviews declaring the restaurants as “excellent,” “superb,” and “wonderful” being amongst the client feedback. It’s no surprise then, that entrepreneur Maria was recently awarded the prestigious accolade of Best Fine Italian Restaurant & Bar Owner (South East England) in the 2021 Influential Businesswoman Awards and since then, opening another establishment in Warlingham.
