We’re not just a production shop that simply builds what our clients want – we help develop their vision into something really tangible, and everyone client and team side come out of a project knowing more than they did coming in. “There are two things really which set Bravand apart from the competition. The first is our absolute focus on user testing and insight. We hold user tests throughout a project to ensure that whatever we are building, we have done everything we can to ensure suitability to the client’s target audience. The second is our flexible ‘can do’ approach – since our inception in 2012 we’ve always pledged to keep nimble and actively go out of our way to help our clients by removing as much unnecessary process and fat from our team as possible. We know this gives us a competitive edge and have seen it keep clients coming back again and again. In fact, the feedback we repeatedly get from our clients is that we are reliable, innovative, always on time and always on budget.” Bravand is experiencing huge success. In 2016 it was rated Number 20 in ITS category for client satisfaction in The Drum’s Digital Census, which is all powered by its client’s ratings rather than that of its peers. The financial year also saw the firm reach its best quarter ever in terms of turnover – a habit it hopes to continue moving forward. Recently, Bravand was voted top in its jurisdiction for the 2016 Global Excellence Awards, and Jilly tells us how it felt to be awarded this prestigious accolade. “Fantastic – we’re not a team with a massive trophy cabinet as we tend to spend most of our time working on client projects than our own publicity. It’s great to get recognition like this and to share it with the team and our clients. “We’ll try not to let it go to our heads too much! The champagne and dancing girls might be swapped for beers and pizza. In all seriousness however, being recognised like this from a business-focused publication allows us to reinforce our skills to both existing and new clients. It also allows us to say a massive thank you to our team who work so hard in delivering brilliant work and great client satisfaction. We have a dedicated team who play an important role in the success of the company. We are a collective of digital experts that each brings to the table their own specific talents to each project that comes through our door.” With regards to the next 12 months, Jilly has high hopes for Bravand. “We’re hoping to experience real growth, both in terms of turnover, profit and people. We have an ambitious new five year plan kicking off in 2017. “Last year was a very busy year for us, with a whole world of new work that we can now present to the world, which we are very much looking forward to.
