As such, we generate ideas to improve our delivery of customer service and also develop new services to meet all their needs.” KJM Salons is a privately owned hairdressing salon, offering all cutting and colouring services by a team of 20 young stylists, who work tirelessly on their skill and education to always ensure they deliver the very best to the customers. Recently, we caught up with Kerry Mather who provided us with a detailed insight into creative process of how the team at KJM Salons are committed to creating stunning hair transformations. aving opened its doors in 1990, KJM Salons has grown organically and successful throughout the years, and continues to deliver an excellent customer service, in a friendly warm environment. Based in the affluent little town, Fleet in North Hampshire, KJM Salons have always been involved in all local events - school fetes, Fleet Carnival, Christmas festivities, charity fundraisers, talks and presentations at local schools and colleges. Over the years, the award-winning salon has received many facelifts however, none of them compare to their beautiful refurbishment in September 2017, which boasts a stunning contemporary environment, to relax and enjoy. Going into detail about the creative salon, Kerry begins by informing us of the services the team offers to clients, and how they ensure right from the start that the outcome goes above and beyond in fulfilling their requirements. “Here at KJM Salons, we specialise in all colour services, with continued support from Schwarzkopf Professional; through exceptional products, bespoke training and all round business support. As such, our colour business equates to 57% of our overall turnover. “The success of our business is down to a few key elements which includes the following: • Staff loyalty: The majority of the team have worked at KJMSalons for more than six years, and the rest for over an exceptional 10 years. In addition to this, every single qualified hairdresser who works at KJM Salons has been through our apprenticeship scheme we offer. • Total commitment by the team to improving and continuously growing as hairdressers, building their already impressive portfolio. • Always keeping the customer at the forefront of everything we do, every service we offer, every element of education to ensure that they receive a positive experience and surpasses all expectations.” Assisting Kerry in delivering stylish hair creations, is the talented team of stylists and colourists who are passionate about surpassing their clients’ expectations.
