Specialising in providing solutions to a range of different industries including pharmaceutical, agriculture, coatings and chemicals to name but a few, Russell Finex also has a dedicated after-sales support department, which provides sieve upgrades, re-meshing services, and filter upgrades. Throughout the years, Russell Finex has placed a relentless focus on customer service as part of its core value of “Customer Trust, a Russell Must”. Russell Finex is proud of obtaining a record of achieving 80% repeat business from customers and the company goes to considerable lengths to build customer loyalty through newsletters, feedback surveys and inviting customers to contribute to new product development. Going into further detail about the clients that the firm serves, Ray begins by informing us of how the team approaches potential clients. “Russell Finex aims to serve a variety of different clients in the manufacturing industry: including pharmaceutical, water processing, chemicals, and ceramics industry. These clients are leaders in their own field, creating high-quality, high throughput products for their own clients. As for how they are approached, it is through our team using a mixture of enquiries made to the business, word-of-mouth from other client testimonials, or exhibitions where links are created with potential new clients.” With annual sales approaching £45 million and over 300 direct employees globally, Russell Finex prides itself on their dedicated team of knowledgeable sales engineers and customer service staff who are ready to rise to any challenge. When discussing the internal culture, Ray is keen to highlight the significant role the team plays in the overall success of the firm. “We understand that a company would be lost without a strong work force and Russell Finex recognises the value of employing and retaining knowledgeable, committed and passionate people who buy into its ethos. Bringing the interview to a close, Ray signs off by revealing the exciting plans which lie in the pipeline for the firm, touching on their hopes of continuing their support for projects such as WATERisLIFE. “2019 is a big year for us at Russell Finex as we celebrate our 85th year as a company! We plan to continue to expand and grow, with an important focus being placed upon our automation and manufacturing process. Furthermore, with a global focus being placed on the importance of sustainable business practices, we are continuously looking to further our efforts to reduce our environmental footprint and become increasingly more efficient as a business, minimizing waste output in our factories. “In addition to this, we are always looking for opportunities to continue our corporate social responsibility, engaging with our local community as well as on a wider global platform.
