Much of what ERG produces goes towards meeting the needs of industries and societies across the world for the energy transition, fuelling further economic growth. For instance, in Africa, ERG has built large-scale production facilities for its core copper and cobalt businesses. Equally, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of Zambia, Zimbabwe, Republic of South Africa, and Mozambique, ERG has developed operations that serve the manganese, platinum, bauxite, and fluorspar markets. In the former, the company launched its Metalkol Roan Tailings Reclamation (RTR) flagship mining project, which swiftly became the world’s second largest standalone cobalt producer. Across the South Atlantic Ocean in the State of Bahia in Brazil, ERG is currently working on a project that involves the Pedra de Ferro mine, the Porto Sul deep-water port and the associated new FIOL broadgauge railway, to deliver best in class iron ore mining and logistical development. All in all, ERG is looking towards several avenues for continued operational growth in line with meeting social and environmental positive development needs in the regions, states and countries it serves. For Daniella, this ongoing mission has helped shape her role within the company, ensuring that ERG, in turn, delivers betterment in the areas it operates rather than damage, or disadvantage. Its large workforce and its established operations have the power to make real change, and Daniella works diligently with her colleagues every day to utilise Eurasian Resources Group that power for good. As the world seeks swifter adoption of sustainable fuel sources, ERG’s role will shift in turn, fulfilling crucial logistical needs for alternative sources and green technologies.
