Influential Businesswoman Awards 2024, Acquisition International | 45 Commenting on the future of Kamreno, Renata believes that the coming years will hold considerable innovation and growth, particularly concerning the technology and cybersecurity sectors. Utilising the likes of state-of-the-art AI tools, the company is planning on expanding its geographic reach, tackling new markets across Europe, Asia, and North America. As the business expands, sustainability and ethical practice remain at the forefront of its strategy, as seen through the likes of its commitment to remote working. Additionally, Renata actively participates in two women’s membership clubs where she offers mentoring services and free marketing consulting. Renata often supports smaller projects that may not be profitable but are truly meaningful. We wish Renata Kaminska the greatest of success with these goals, and proudly celebrate this educational entrepreneur and innovative marketing leader with a 2024 Influential Businesswoman Award. In the four years since, Renata has built this operation considerably, but she does much more than just strategic oversight, instead being an active participant in the dayto-day operations of the team and offering clients stellar fractional marketing services. “This hands-on approach,” Renata tells us, “allows me to stay connected to our clients’ needs and ensures we deliver customised, effective marketing solutions.” Operating in a male-dominated sphere is not easy, but Renata is keen to reinforce the fact that her experience has shown her that it is not men who are the primary obstacles to women achieving success, as Renata has found many of her female colleagues to also contribute to a harshly competitive working environment. Many of her male colleagues have also been incredibly supportive, which has brought Renata to the conclusion that an overhaul in leadership and practical solidarity is needed across workplaces for society to truly advance. Nevertheless, since beginning her career, Renata has witnessed a number of positive changes across the industry, particularly regarding the roles of women and inclusion. Where it was previously common for Renata to be the only female in a corporate setting, it is now frequent to see women in more areas of business, including filling highly skilled technical positions. Not only does Renata own and operate Kamreno, but she is also the manager of an educational brand Hector & Friends, owned by Kamreno, which she established during the pandemic. As Renata explains it, “This initiative fosters critical thinking and empathy outside the traditional educational system, using innovative book projects and workshops to engage and educate.” This initiative far exceeds just selling books, it is about creating a movement, as seen in its project for Ukraine, where thousands of books were donated to Ukrainian children. Another crowning achievement in Renata’s career has been authoring three books, but above all, Renata is proud to have a positive impact on the world by supporting the development of the skills of the future. Both of these elements are incredibly important to Renata and comprise a big part of the culture that exists at Kamreno. As she explains, “one of my most cherished dreams has always been to own a business that aligns with my personal values, which is exactly why I created Hector & Friends.” The terrific support Renata affords the community manifests itself in other ways too, such as her ongoing dedication to supporting women, something she achieves through both brands. In the case of Kamreno, this includes having a team that naturally includes a number of talented women, without the need for any formal inclusion programmes. Hector & Friends then strives to empower young girls through the power of reading, offering them the education, positive role models, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills vital for future success. Renata Kaminska is the Founder and Fractional Marketing Director of Kamreno Ltd, a full-service marketing agency that elevates brand presence and boosts business growth across a number of diverse industries, such as cybersecurity, non-profit, beauty, public sector, construction, and more. Leveraging more than 15 years of industry experience running campaigns and branding for the likes of Discovery Channel, Nokia, KPMG, IBM, and Pirelli, Renata is incredibly well-versed in managing the complex nature of a marketing agency and its many innovations. We catch up with Renata for more.
