6 Acquisition International - 2018 International Fund Awards is Certified in Investor Relations through New York University, in Fixed Income Securities through New York Institute of Finance, in Finance through New York Institute of Finance, and in Regulations 101 through and NIRI. She is also licensed through the Chamber of Commerce in New York. Working her way up, Patricia began her career with Handy & Harman as a receptionist of the firm and shortly thereafter was promoted to Telecommunications Specialist. She then spent time with Dewe Rogerson as a Secretary to a company director and then went on to becoming an Assistant Account Executive with Citigate and then as an Account Executive to Account Manager before moving on to the Altman Group as their Managing Director to the Vice President. It was in 2010 that Patricia formed Pristine Advisers as President and CEO. Today, she works to put the human touch back into the finance market, something she is particularly passionate about. “In a world overrun by numbers, given the fact that the currency of Wall Street is more mathematical then verbal, more quantitative and qualitative, we have the talent to humanize a great many concepts for the good of a great many investors, at home and abroad. We embrace branding as storytelling and broadcasting a voice (and showcasing the face behind that voice) for an audience of relevant investors.” In addition to dealing with investor relations, public relations, and media relations for clients, the team at Pristine Advisors are also in charge of marketing their clients to the investment community and the media. As such they are constantly seeking additional investors for clients to present their products to, seeking the appropriate media in which to pitch their story, exploring the various roads and methods one can use to help market both themselves and their valued clients. She firmly believes that collaboration is vital to her work, as it enables her to utilise the knowledge of a wide range of industry experts, as she highlights. “In our industry, diversity is everything, and as such I work with so many financial professionals. I host an annual conference on behalf of the specific marketplace I serve that exposes me to a vast array of people and perspectives. I learn a lot from these men and women which provides me a unique perspective which many other businesses lack. “Another key means of gaining insight, both from investors and our industry peers, is social media, and this is vital to the ongoing success of any firm, and as such I am constantly advising my clients to embrace it. It is essential for clients to understand, because it is crucial for me to emphasize, the importance of outlets like Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, and Twitter. It is urgent for clients to join the real-time dialogue by analysts, investors, and critics alike, concerning the performance of the market in general and this or that fund in particular.” As the future beckons, Patricia firmly believes that Pristine Advisers can continue to grow and flourish as it seeks to continue offering its clients cutting edge support and services, as she explains in her concluding comments. “This year presents opportunities, not additional obstacles, because there is a worldwide conversation, a minute-by-minute posting of tens of thousands of tweets, comments, and news flashes about Wall Street. It is my firm belief that my firm has the skill and resources to deliver clarity in a digital environment of seemingly indecipherable chaos. “Personally, I am always reading, learning, and evaluating new ways to do business. I am constantly attending conferences, participating in webinars, and speaking with industry professionals as well to evolve and keep with the times, not only for myself as a company but also for the well-being of our clients. This will remain my core objective, and that of Pristine Advisors, as we look towards a bright and exciting future filled with opportunities to take and challenges to overcome.”
