Uber’s process for onboarding drivers is dangerously negligent. Neither Uber nor Lyft uses fingerprints or law enforcement to background-check their drivers, and Uber does not even meet drivers before it hires them and allows them to work under its umbrella. The result is a series of incidents involving ‘ridesharing’ passengers being harmed and criminal offenders behind the wheel. Some states have outlawed TNC from operating and other states have officially issued alerts to warn consumers about the dangers of so-called ‘ridesharing’ companies due to the lack of sufficient insurance coverage. “As such, whilst consumer interest in chaffer driven transportation is clearly still high, the market is now increasingly competitive, and moving forward Premier will continue to work hard to show clients that quality service and reliability are central to our services and that we are the ideal partner for all their transportation needs.
