Despite a history that spans more than a hundred years, Taylor Rose TTKW defies tradition with its unique management structure that facilitates dynamism, and constantly explores new ways to innovate and succeed. Clients are put at the heart of the business, so as to understand their challenges and ambitions fully and deliver legal solutions that are tailored to them. Taylor Rose TTKW proudly holds a position as a Top 75 UK Law Firm, predominantly for its driven approach to delivering smart, modern law. A Consultant Solicitor of Taylor Rose TTKW, who specialises in delivering sound and practical advice in Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate work, Sandy Kaur takes an active interest in the issues faced by families upon the death of a loved one and continually explores the developments and challenges in the Private Client field. She is also one of the leading forces at Taylor Rose TTKW driving diversity and progress at the firm. Sandy says, “I am proud to be a leader and entrepreneur in my field, now also leading a team of my own within Taylor Rose and aiming to empower women and similarly help them with their professional development journey. I believe that Taylor Rose promotes equality and diversity within the legal framework and have provided women with the opportunity of career progression by providing them with more flexibility and control over the way they work whilst bringing up a family of their own.” Although women make up 48% of all lawyers in England and Wales and 75% of other members of the workforce in the legal sector according to the Solicitors Regulation Authority, it is still challenging for women to progress to partner level in a traditional law firm. Many of these firms do not promote flexible working and ever increasing and demanding targets make the work-life balance near impossible to achieve. T Taylor Rose TTKW Limited is a Top 75 independent UK firm of solicitors providing a comprehensive selection of personal and commercial legal advisory services to clients across the country. The result of more than a hundred years of history, which began with the establishment of a legal and insurance firm by Sir Kingsley Wood, who would later become Chancellor of the Exchequer to Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Taylor Rose TTKW is today a proudly progressive law firm. We spoke to Consultant Solicitor and the Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning Lawyer of the Year for the East Midlands, Sandy Kaur, to find out more about how Taylor Rose TTKW delivers smart, modern law. Work towards a career development plan that suits your circumstances and lifestyle,” says Sandy, who is looking for private client solicitors with at least four years PQE to join her team on a sub- consultancy basis. Before joining Taylor Rose in 2017, Sandy was a Partner and Head of Department in a high street law practice, during which time she developed skills in leadership, management and practice development. She now implements these skills alongside her Trusts and Estate Administration qualifications with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and wealth of experience into delivering straightforward and sound advice to families and ensures that their wishes are put into place through carefully drafted Wills, whether simple or complex.
