Apart from his basic Degrees in Law (LL.B (Hons); B.L), he also holds four (4) Masters Degrees in: Laws – (LL.M); International Law and Diplomacy – (M.I.L.D); Industrial and Labour Relations – (M.I.L.R); and Humanitarian and Refugee Studies – (M.H.R.S). In addition, he holds the B.L. Degree of the Law Society of Upper Canada. As a certified Project Manager, with Project Management Certification from the Project Management College, United Kingdom, Uzo is a certified Mutual Funds Advisor with the Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) Certificate from the Canadian Securities Institute. Uzo has more than 15 years of active law practice experience and more than seven years of in-house Legal Counsel Experiences, both overseas, as well as more than five years of ad-hoc and full-time Canadian Law Firm research and law practice experiences. A widely travelled man, Uzo is a community activist involved in many community projects both overseas and in Calgary, Canada and volunteers with a number of community and non-profit organizations, also both in overseas and in Calgary, Canada. Amember of the Global Lawyers of Canada, he partners with Legal Aid Alberta and Calgary Legal Guidance to provide highly subsidized and pro-bono legal services and guidance, respectively, to economically disadvantaged Canadians. Uzo is an exemplary personality and legal professional, who is very charitable and professional in his dealings with others.
