This first victory would set the precedent for a near-perfect trial record of more than 75 jury verdicts across New York City in cases ranging from medical malpractice and wrongful death, to construction accidents, slips and falls, bus collisions, car accidents, wrongful arrest, assault, and battery. By age 30, Kyle had won his first medical malpractice verdict of more than one million dollars, representing a client whose near-fatal injuries were the result of an orthopedic surgeon. The case itself was one of the highest verdicts for a medical malpractice action involving surgical errors, and was featured in the New York Law Journal’s November 2014 “Medical Malpractice Verdicts & Settlements Hall of Fame”. By 34, Kyle went one step further and won his first case in excess of three million dollars. Yet again, by 35 this time, Kyle went on to gain his largest settlement ever in the Bronx Supreme Court. Following his cross-examination of the defendant doctors, Kyle was able to achieve a settlement for over six million dollars.
