The challenges of this condition were further compounded during the early stages of the ongoing pandemic, as access to such treatment was restricted, hence Martin’s decision to invest in the world-class device. The clinic also invests in imported frames and sunglasses, unusual contact lens fittings, Australian- made lenses, and a variety of other treatments and apparatus that require complex and costly equipment, stock and trial fitting sets. Whilst many more profit-focused companies tend to forgo these assets, Martin’s prefers to invest in the equipment that will enable stronger delivery in eyecare. Another recent acquisition to enhance the Martin’s patient experience is the clinic’s newest team member, Larry Ford, the optical dispenser who has seamlessly joined the team that Martin relies on to uphold the standard for family-friendly excellence which has been cultivated over the years.
