On a personal note, I would enjoy establishing a presence in the US – but with six offices to contend with already, we currently have our hands full.” In his concluding comments, Ian predicts what future developments there will be within the environmental consultancy sector, and is confident that his team his fully equipped to deal with any issues or challenges which may arise. “Notwithstanding the fact that every other story in the news appears to relate to renewable energy, we foresee sustained revenue growth in the oil and gas sectors – for the remainder of my career at least. We are fortunate however that our services are needed by most sectors, hence it is often hard to see ‘what’s around the corner’ in terms of our next big project.”
