There are always many challenges to face when developing new products and entering new markets, such as cultural sensitivities and the need to understand the goals of different stakeholders. We encourage close collaboration with our local offices on the basis that the business is more powerful and effective when acting as one. My role has evolved, I am now more conscious of global opportunities and challenges and how we are best placed to meet them. How do you manage your staff and how do you cultivate an atmosphere that is conducive to a productive working environment? We strive to create a productive and engaging working environment where our people feel empowered to make decisions and see opportunities to develop their individual talents. We are very lucky to have loyal, committed and motivated people within our business which has been critical to our success. We also empower our people to develop and extend their knowledge and skill set through exposure to a wide variety of situations. What are your future aspirations regarding your business? Do you have any future plans/ projects you would like to share with us? We aspire to remain market leaders and experts within asset recovery. We will continue to operate with a seamless, joined up approach with our member firms who operate across multiple jurisdictions. This will enable us to provide a high level, consistent service to our clients. We see asset recovery as an integral part to driving integrity in financial markets, which in itself is crucial for economic growth. We continue to enter new markets and enhance our offering in many evolving jurisdictions where we believe effective asset recovery structures are necessary to building an effective economy. We have developed joint ventures in territories across Africa, India and Asia to provide access to global recovery options in countries or organisations that have previously been unable or unwilling to take such steps.
