Her firm recently received the exclusive Leading Advisor in Executive Coaching – Northamptonshire accolade, within the 2017 Global Excellence Awards. To mark this success, we interviewed the woman at the helm to find out how she is really helping businesses today. trategic Performance Coaching’s Jacqueline Day is a master coach and master practitioner of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP). She works with businesses on strategic leadership development. Much of her coaching with business leaders concerns both visionary leadership and change and culture embedment. Her combined skills help executives to create breakthroughs they may not otherwise have experienced. Jacqueline Day outlines her thoughts on change and business growth, as well as the firm’s clear mission statement, as the interview kicks off. “When you change what something means, you can change everything. I believe that greater performance is achieved, as well as fresh perspectives and new ways of doing things can be gained when you make positive changes. I help teams to focus on their key priorities and work collaboratively on both their collective goals and objectives, so that all participants are engaged and each member is valued for their contribution. “After working with the leaders and executives on the direction, change and culture and this is then embodied within the teams and individuals in the organisation, we can then work together on business growth strategies and providing a great customer experience. It all starts at the top. “My mission statement is: ‘Inspiring, empowering, transforming businesses teams and individuals to maximise their potential’. I am constantly asking myself: “How can I become the voice, the inspirer, the empower, the transformer and what can I do different?” Jacqueline then underlines what differentiates her firm from the competition and how her custom is generated. “In all businesses, today, competition is accelerating. It is important to be the competition. The Performance Coaching Go-to Person S 1708AI36 People buy people and I am sought after, due to my personal presence, the results I achieve for my clients and the relationships I have with them. “Most of my business is generated through referrals. I notice exactly what is going on with my clients. Indeed, I understand and appreciate them at a deeper level. When you are mindful of people’s patterns, I believe it enhances the relationship. So, clients will open up to me and with the strategies I employ, I can really move them forward. “My business is based on people and as such, the client and I are constantly finding new ways to meet their needs. My clients certainly see a reason or an advantage for being coached by me. They evaluate my services and the identity they attach to me is their ‘go to person’.” A recent client of hers, after Business Development Coaching with Jacqueline, stated that they really feel that they are the driver now and know exactly where the business direction is.
