Acquisition International - September 2017 55 The main challenges effecting our clients recently, have been auto enrolment and the upcoming Making Tax Digital programme being rolled out by HMRC. We have found that the key to assisting our clients with these challenges, has been to inform them early enough about the changes that have been taking place. This has allowed them to take the steps necessary to prepare for the changes. We have found that the clients who prepare early enough find the transition much easier. The clients who choose to ignore the problems are the clients that have the most difficulty with making any of the required transitions. As with many things in life, preparation is the key! Although clients initially look to us for accountancy services, we always remember that as business owners, we may be able to assist them by providing them with non-financial information. Should we feel that there is someone within our network that a client should be introduced to, we will always offer to make that introduction since by expanding the client’s business and helping it to grow, this will enhance our relationship with the client. Indeed, many clients have introduced us to some of their relevant contacts and we find that this mutual arrangement works very well. We also take our corporate social responsibilities very seriously, and Stallion Accountancy Services belongs to a responsible business organisation as well as actively supporting several local charities. We also regularly participate in events that support local students, and provide them with an insight into their future life within the workplace. Looking to the future, we see our current rate of expansion continuing which will be achieved both by word of mouth referral from our current client portfolio and from our networking activities. The business now has an established reputation throughout Essex and we look to build on this reputation in the years ahead. Excellent Level of Service
