Acquisition International - Issue 8 2020 7 Port of Call for Workplace Training have been able to act as a central hub for many other stakeholders in the local community who might require additional support. An example of this support would be the team at Places for People, who now have office space at Portull Training Services’ new headquarters. This team is essential to many learners who require assistance in accessing housing. The decision to place them in the heart of the Portull Training Services offices not only allows learners easy access to help when they need it, but reflects the way in which the team are determined to work alongside people in order to make their lives better. Looking forward, the future seems bright for Portull Training Services with many learners delighted by the work they do, and benefitting strongly from their determined efforts. Of course, no system is perfect, and the Portull Training Services team are well aware of the need to remain vigilant in the light of new challenges. Feedback is requested from all learners, then collated and analysed through the company’s Self-Assessment Review and Quality Improvement Plan. This way of working ensures that ways of improving can be found quickly, which can only benefit employers and learners alike.
