The success of Law Office Lazarov can be found within the company’s determination to educate and pass on information. “Our biggest asset is the accretion of knowledge and passing it on selflessly,’ states Nikolcho Lazarov, who used to be a judge. There’s a lot of information to pass down, especially when the knowledge database goes back at least thirty years! In a changing industry, however, it’s not just from the past that experience is earned. We learn with each new matter, with each new client, from the seemingly easy cases and from the hard ones.” It’s a worthy mission statement that has resulted in a team that is able to communicate well, clearly and to the benefit of the client. “Strong communication creates strong bonds of trust, which are vital in supporting each other so we can deliver results,” says Nikolcho. It’s this trust which builds loyalty to the company from its clients. Still, as a law office, they remain aspirational, remaining vigilant to the possible changes should membership be secured in the future. “We will have many challenges in harmonizing the legal system,” says Dragan, “introducing new institutes, communicating and learning more. We will need to take some serious leaps forward in order to achieve that level, which is not an easy task.” Even so, with intimate knowledge of the EU gleaned from time spent as Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister in charge of European Affairs, there might be no one better positioned to comment and offer advice on European matters. “Ultimately, we are growing as a firm, as a country and we are reaching outside our borders to a stronger regional cooperation, which is a path to a stronger cooperation in Europe and the World”. Not content to rest on their laurels, they’re looking to the future with efforts made to explore the broad scope of legal support in the ICT Sector while working out how best to integrate themselves with a new, global company. ‘We are planning years ahead and starting to reshape in order to be more compatible and competitive,’ says Dragan. ‘The legal profession needs not only to adapt around the technological advancements, but also to be a part of them itself.’ If one thing has been proven over the years, it’s that Law Office Lazarov is quite willing to adapt and grow to whatever new situations arise, and more than likely, they’ll be a part of that change too.
