On October 1st, 2019 the firm celebrated its 25th anniversary, delivering legal excellence for a quarter century. In particular, PBR, acting as private prosecutor, presented star witnesses for the prosecution in the impeachment trial of a President. It was responsible for the successful defence of a Presidential contender’s Philippine natural-born citizenship before the Supreme Court, and the successful impeachment of a Chief Justice of the Supreme Court before the Senate Impeachment Court. It also defended a Chief Justice of the Supreme Court against a quo warranto petition filed by the government. It isn’t just politics either, as the firm has taken large, multinational corporations as clients, and aims to get more on board as it continues moving forward.
