<p>Female agri-preneurs are faced with challenges when trying to develop agricultural businesses and access the agricultural value chain. They have limited access to finance, agricultural inputs such as seeds, limited access to skills and resources, farming implements and transport. Since 2018, AWiA has worked to close this gap in knowledge by empowering women who have a keen interest in agriculture. So far AWiA has empowered over 200 women and a handful of men.</p>
