<p>Buddy Up is a charity designed to offer mentoring to young people identified by schools that would benefit from some one to one support from an experienced youth worker and mentor. It was set up in August 2020 after a need was identified amongst the young people in the community. Returning to schools after an unprecedented pandemic, many schools were reporting an increase in anxiety amongst their young people, a reduction in confidence and some struggling with attendance.</p>
