<p>INDRESMAT is an international chemical start-up based in Barcelona (ES) and Geleen (NL) working towards a decarbonized &#038; circular construction industry with a dual approach; it offers an engineer-like understanding of mechanical processes, as well as a chemist’s expertise in materials, thus facilitating the achievement of a circular economy and advances several of the Sustainable Development Goals (9,11,12,13). INDRESMAT enables biobased Polyurethane (bioPUR) as single recyclable &#038; low C-Footprint material with the highest thermal insulating capacity to replace complex and difficult to recycle multi-material window frames (EXTRU-PUR Project) and multilayer thermal insulation systems (SAFE-PUR Project), thus enhancing the circula rity of construction materials while improving the energy efficiency of buildings &#038; houses by lowering their CO2 emissions.</p>
