<p>Rextie is a fintech startup founded in 2016 by Mateu Batle (CEO), Claudia Quintanilla (COO) and Matías Maciel (CFO) to solve the issues with currency exchange for individuals and SMEs in Peru and LATAM. Rextie started operations in early 2017 with a digital platform to exchange currency safely in minutes at very competitive exchange rates. In May 2019, Rextie reached a total transaction volume of 1 billion of soles becoming one of the top leader currency exchange platforms in LATAM. Next steps include the international expansion through LATAM including Argentina and Mexico.</p>
