<p>Kiran Koteshwar is the CFO of Spicejet, a low-cost airline based in India. He has been the part of this company since 2006 which has witnessed an amazing turnaround after a near-closure, after he successfully concluded the takeover of control &amp; ownership in 2015.  In this role, he has seen the company rebuild up itself through profitable operations while restoring credibility amongst its stakeholders; and executing a large aircraft order of upto 205 Boeing MAX aircraft and 50 Bombardier aircraft.   Before this he was involved in major funding exercises notably a USD 100 mn funding in 2008 &amp; USD 150 mm stake-sell in 2010.  In 2019, Spicejet achieved “one-of-its kind” success in that they acquired over 25 aircraft in 30 days from an airline that shutdown. This involved extensive aircraft lease negotiations &amp; conclusion of definitive lease agreements; allocation of financial resources to scale up operations to induct these aircraft.</p>
