<p>Writers Space Africa (WSA) is a not-for-profit organisation that aims at empowering writers of African descent. It is the brainchild of Nigerian multi-genre published author Anthony Onugba. WSA exists in 22 African countries, coordinated by teams from within each country. One way WSA empowers writers is through its flagship online monthly publication, WSA Magazine which showcases short stories, flash fiction, poetry, children’s literature, essays and articles. More recently, WSA launched its newest quarterly publication PoeticAfrica which published works in English, French and Swahili. The WSA website has free insights into how to write in different genres. It’s worth a visit.</p>
